Yonatan Voltzok is one of the leading and most unique trombone players today. He has worked with greats such as: Jimmy Heath, Ron Carter, Slide Hampton, James Moody, Roy Hargrove and many more. Born in Tel-Aviv, Yonatan received the majority of his jazz musical education by his mentor, the late legendary Amit Golan. In 2007, Yonatan moved to New York and studied in The New School for Jazz from which he graduated with excellence. While living in NYC, he had the opportunity and honor to study with some of jazz greatest masters such as Junior Mance, Billy Harper, Reggie Workman, Aaron Goldberg, David Schnitter, Jeremy Manasia, George Cables, Tardo Hammer, Hal Galper, the late Charlie Persip and many more. Yonatan also played with some of the scene’s greatest musicians such as Don Hahn, John Mosca, Ned Goold, Ari Roland, Will Anderson, Peter Anderson and more in NYC’s best venues like Fat Cat, Smalls, Smoke, The Iridium, Symphony Space and Dizzy’s. From 2012, Yonatan has been living in Tel-Aviv, performing and recording with Israel’s finest jazz musicians and with world class jazz musicians when on tour in Israel such as Victor Lewis, Vincent Hering, Jim Rotondi, Jessie Davis and more. Yonatan plays regularly in Israel’s finest Jazz club Beit Ha-Amudim and frequently performs in The Red Sea Jazz Festival and other festivals such as The New Orleans Festival, The Jerusalem Jazz Festival and in many jazz series across the country. He is a faculty member at the Tel Aviv Conservatory and is completing his Masters degree at the Jerusalem Academy for Music while also having another musical profession as a film composer, for which he received two nominations for Best Film Composer in The Ophir Awards (‘Shelter’ and most recently Spider in the Web’).Elan FridlanderElam Friedlander is a Jazz double bassist and composer. Originally from Israel, Elam is currently living and working in New York City. Elam graduated from the New school for Jazz and Contemporary music, and has had the opportunity to play and perform with artists such as Abraham Burton, Eric McPherson, David Bryant, Jonathan Voltzok, Yuval Cohen and others. Elam has performed internationally in Bern,Berlin,Belgrade,Marseille,Vienna,Lublijana, Klagenfurt, Rostov, Zagreb, Krakow, Prague and other places. Elam has performed at the Red Sea Jazz Festival twice with the Yuval Cohen Sextet and the JT and the magnificent soul big band, as well as at Carnegie Hall,Alice Tully Hall,Marseille Jazz festival,Bern Jazz Festival,Tel Aviv Jazz festival, Smalls Jazz club and others.Elam SlivnikEviatar Slivnik is an Israeli born musician currently living in New York City. From 8 years old, Eviatar started his musical path that has led him to perform with world class artists such as: Eli Degibri, Avishai Cohen, Jason Palmer, Darren Barrett, Omer Avital, Gilad Hekselman etc. Over the years he gained his musical education at the most prestigious and respected institutions in Israel and worldwide such as Campus Arison School of Arts, Thelma Yellin High School of Arts, Rimon Jazz Institute, and earned his Bachelor Degree at Berklee College of Music (to which he was awarded a full tuition scholarship). At the age of 19, Eviatar has become a core member of Eli Degibri’s band touring all over Europe & performing at world-class venues such as Antibes Jazz Festival (France), Jarasum Jazz Festival (South Korea), Duc De Lombards (Paris), Café Central (Madrid), Nancy Jazz (Nancy), Blue Note (Milan, Beijing, New York), The Jazz Standard (NYC) & Dizzy’s Coca-Cola Club, part of the Lincoln Center in New York City. With various other artists (such as Felix Rossy, Tyrone Allen, Tamir Grinerg, Ben Solomon, Jon Elbaz etc.) he had also performed at Jamboree Club, Kaunas Jazz Festival, Smalls Jazz Club, Mezzrow, Wally’s Jazz Club & the Red Sea Jazz Festival. In August 2018, He moved to New York City and since then, he has been maintaining a busy schedule of performing, touring and being an active voice in the international jazz community and the local jazz scene in New York.
